Nekter Juice Bar - La Jolla

Usually when I order it's fine. Today, was not good. I ordered my bowl on-line 20 minutes before pick up time and it said it will be ready at 8:48 a.m. I go to pick up the girl at the counter was on her phone and no one was in line. I told her I have a pick up and she said she has to make it now and that she was backed up. But, her and the other girl wasn't making anything when I walked in. Another customer for pick up had to wait as well. Mind you no one was in the store. So, why wasn't it ready.

They do custom juices to perfection. Staff is friendly and efficient. Please come to Portland Maine!

I love this place, they're juice portions can be huge! It can be pricey however you GET THE FRESHEST OF THE FRESH. How can you put a price on that! The dragon fruit bowl is my favorite! Sign me up anyday!! Staff is super friendly and quick to make what you have ordered. You go Nektar you Go!!

We used Nekter to cater an event and couldn't be more pleased! Yuen was great to work with throughout the whole process, and all of our guests loved the juice and acai bowls. Would work with again!

I've tried a few flavors now. The Pink Flamingo, Tumeric Sunrise, Health Nut, and Popeye's Acai. The Pink Flamingo is the best so far and needs no changes. The Tumeric Sunrise was good but surprisingly too watery. The Health Nut was watery too, but tasted like I expected from the ingredients. The Popeye's Acai is too watery as well and doesn't have very much flavor. The only smoothie I would probably get again is the Pink Flamingo. Not much reason to come back besides for the Pink Flamingo is if the other smoothies are so watery as well. I'll try the Mango one next time.

Amazing catering option for staff meetings and events!! We hosted an event at the nearby Hyatt hotel, and Yuen and her staff went out of their way to make sure my team had a healthy breakfast each day to fuel us. Our orders were right each time, and delivery was on time or early each day, which was early morning already. Superior customer service and delicious product!! Definitely recommend their food and also their catering service!

Vegan frozen dessert was great; I recommend the orange flavor and suggest you pay $1 for add-ons (I got cacao nibs, pineapple, and hemp seed granola). :)

Service was kinda slow and the employees didn't seem to be enjoying their jobs. The smoothie was good once it was finally ready.

I love love love the Açaí Banana Berry bowl!!! I’ve gone to a couple different Nektars throughout San Diego, but I frequent this one most often because it’s near my house. I have to say, I am not nearly impressed when I come here though. I was just in this afternoon and the girl who took and made my order was obviously very unhappy to be there and was not friendly at all. Overall, I’ve had better interactions with staff at the other locations I’ve been to...more upbeat and friendly! There have also been a couple times where I was a bit disappointed with how they’ve made my açaí bowl. I’ve paid over $8 for a bowl that is only halfway full and that includes the granola and fruit toppings. I also like that other locations add an agave honey drizzle...I don’t think this store does, so I will start asking for it.

Located right next to the Sprinkles Cupcakes, which I find funny. The service at this Nekter juice bar is wonderful. They are helpful and efficient. The acai bowls are delicious. And the smoothies and juices are healthy and tasty. If you bring in your Nekter (reusable) cup or a similar non-Nekter one, they discount 50 cents. Also, they have deals on the juice packs from time to time. Parking is tough because there are so many shops in this center and not enough parking. So you might have to drive around for a minute to find a spot, especially during peak hours.
