Nekter Juice Bar - La Jolla

Staff and service was great. I have only had their smoothies and it is great. The seasonal pumpkin spice smoothie is amazing. If you download their app for the first time, they offer you a 16 oz smoothie for free (no other purchase required). Just scan the offer by redeeming it.

You better only order bowls as they are. If you like to add anything extra, they’ll charge for it, include it on the order but forget to put in it. Not once, not twice but third time happening to me.

I come back to this location every time I’m in San Diego. The owners have done an amazing job running this store, and the staff is always kind and personable. Recommended drink: Toxin flush (don’t add ice, SD is hot and it dilutes fast) Bowl: banana berry bowl (but add extra toppings, it’s more fun that way) I would suggest getting the app and ordering ahead of time. It’s very popular in the summer season and the line can get pretty long.

Decent acai bowls, nothing special.

Pretty good experience at Nekter. The juice is incredible, but the acai bowl is fairly standard fair without anything to write home about. It’s good enough, but nothing creative about it. The staff seemed incredibly hurried and being from a small ski town, I struggled to keep up with the speed they seemed to expect from my order. Nonetheless, good products and I’d return for more.

Clean poppin place. I had to wait a few minutes to order as all three staff were working on orders but was kindly twice told they'd be right with me. I appreciate that attention as a customer. The smoothie was delicious! I was craving a Mango a go go from their competitor (JJ) but liked this one better as it was less sweet. I looked it up later and theirs has HALF the amount of sugar in their Mango Delight. I'll be back to try out their online ordering method.

Made a mobile order and stood in the store, waiting forever to pick it up, and was not acknowledged by staff. I understand they're busy but I've been standing here for ten minutes.

My visit was a little before lunch time, which I think is one of the busiest times for Nekter, so I had to wait a little while until I was able to place an order. It was a clean store, everyone was 6 feet apart, employees were wearing gloves, and just everything that should be done were done. Of course, nobody likes waiting in the line and I do have a long day of work, but I still waited. Catherine acknowledged my long wait time as they only had 2 employees (including Catherine) trying to complete orders as fast and safe as possible. But let me tell you what made the difference of today's visit. It is as simple as acknowledging that someone has waited. The fact that COVID is slowing down other procedures that could make fulfilling order faster is not their fault. But she apologized a few times as if it was her own fault, which I insisted it wasn't and that it is okay. Her customer service was just so amazing and she was very kind even though there was a lot of pressure due to a large number of other pick-up orders and in-store orders. She didn't lose her smile or sacrificed the quality of her customer service. I hope that Nekter can let her know she is appreciated because I do!

Delicious healthy options . Good portion size.

Wonderful place to eat. The service was prompt so much so if you ordered online and arrived early they rush your order so you don’t have to wait in line. The staff told me about their rewards program, and redeeming points with each purchase. Will go again! Wonderful for vegans, holistic eater, and people with allergies!

I love this place because the smoothies and juices are wonderful. Very refreshing and have something for everyone. They also do acai bowls which look beautiful and I see people ordering them all the time.
