The cashier & baristas were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the dragonfruit bowl, which I would suggest for those who don't care for the acai taste like me.
The whole store was small and cute, can't wait to go back and try something new.
Stopped here for my first visit and got a smoothie they recommended. Have no idea what it was called or what was in it. I do know that it was purple and it was delicious. Will stop by more often to enjoy this cool little place.
I visit Nekter locations all over the valley and I am in a location at least twice a day, every day. I tend to get very good service and have a very good experience at most of the locations in town but the Desert Ridge location is the one exception that stands out for extremely poor overall service. I have personally witnessed the Manager be flat out rude to patrons. The service is always much slower than other locations, and approximately half of the time my order gets completed incorrectly or they allow somebody else to take my drink. I generally tend to be very accommodating of the ongoing errors because I get a sense that the employees are truly trying to do their best. Unfortunately, there seems to be very little training that goes on and there is a continuing stream of new employees through this location. I rarely see the same employee more than once or twice. It is very apparent that this location has significant challenges and problems that seem to mostly attribute and derive from a lack of quality management. In any event, and regardless of the cause of the problems there are definitely significant problems at this particular location and the corporate headquarters would be well advised to look at this location carefully because it is tarnishing the Nekter corporate brand significantly.
Every Nektar chain seems the same. Very healthy place to get breakfast and my favorite smoothie place in Phoenix besides 24 Carrots (but that is not a chain, there is only a single remote place on the Southside).
Nektar uses whole fruits and not juices. Whole fruits are much healthier than juicing. They do sell juices as well, but I only buy the fruit bowls and smoothies. Always a pleasure, but always a wait. The other locations are equally as good.
Amazing food but they sold me a protein bowl and are out of spoons 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ how does one eat a protein bowl without a utensil 🍴 also took 30 mins to get two drinks and a howl 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ they have some work to do on the service side too many young kids running the show at this location seems they need some direction.
Staff this location up with consistent staff. Feel like there is too much turnover and it’s can be slow there because they have to look up the recipes each time. I order a couple hundred dollars a month from you and get the same thing every time but it rarely tastes the same. I’ve been patient but now I’m starting to get frustrated. There are some good workers there and some who seem like they are going through the motions.just some honest feedback
Picked up my 3 day classic cleanse the other day. Even though they were having a company wide shortage of a few of the juices, they we're helpful in finding replacements for them. Friendly staff and great juices.
Delicious smoothie. $9 is a little high for a smoothie though.
