Nekter Juice Bar - Rancho Mission Viejo

There were at least six teenage employees working when I came in, with a line extending all the way to the door. Not once did anyone look up, come to the register, or acknowledge the customers waiting. They continued chatting with each other and making smoothies while the line grew. After more than 20 minutes, I finally caught the attention of one female employee, who said, “You know this is self-service.” I explained that I had placed my order 30 minutes earlier through the app—something that would have been obvious had there been any greeting or basic customer engagement when I walked in. My order was sitting in a fridge behind the counter, but it took an excessive amount of time just to get a staff member to hand it to me. If Nekter is moving away from human interaction, then the pickup fridge should actually be accessible for true self-service. Otherwise, this level of service is unacceptable.

Amazing team in RMV!

I was really disappointed by my experience today. I arrived at 5:59 PM—literally one minute before closing—and was refused service. I genuinely enjoy Nékter’s fresh juices and smoothies and have always had positive experiences before, which made this especially frustrating. I understand closing procedures, but turning away a customer one minute before closing felt unnecessary and left a bad impression. I hope this is something management can address, because I truly like the business and what it stands for. I want to continue supporting Nékter.
