I love Nekter! I get smoothie bowls often. Today I ordered 4 for the family and was very surprised, the cups weren't even half full. Took a picture of one because I couldn't believe how little was in it. Felt jipped. But this is not the norm!

Nekter keeps taking away options and menu items in the app. If I'm ordering online, I want the whole menu with all the size options. Dont offer me large & kids sizes in only 2 of the smoothie options and the rest only small and medium. It doesnt make sense that I can order a large PB or kids orange but not a large or kids Mango. And why remove all the food items from the menu at certain locations? I can order my drink but have to go in and stand in line if i want a snack? Call it newfound American laziness but I will literally order my drink from Nekter and then use the drive thru at starbucks for my snack items just so I can order online and avoid people. Also, bring back the Tumeric sunrise. The new workers get snippy with customers who still try to order it but the workers who have worked there a long time will make it and don't know why Nekter decided to do such a stupid thing by removing it from the menu. Pretty soon it will be a lost art. I'm already getting confused looks when I order it but usually someone in the back knows how to make it and won't scrunch their nose at me in disgust for making them actually use their brain.

I order frequently from Nekter for pickup. I order ahead of time for a reason and I don’t think it has ever been ready on time. I’ve seen employees touch their face or hair or clothes with the same gloves they’re wearing to make customers’ orders. I even watched an employee pour extra from asmoothie into a sample cup and drink it with her gloves still on and she continued to prepare orders with the same ones on. Nekter is the only place I enjoy getting smoothies that both taste good and are on the healthier side but every time I go in to pick one (or multiple) up makes me want to stop ordering from Nekter. Please enforce more sanitary practices from employees. They all seem pretty young but this is no excuse.

Really good smoothies and juices available here for a healthy drink on the go. I'm glad to see a location open here at Desert Ridge, much needed. My go to is definitely the health nut with almond butter. Be sure the check them out of you are in the area you won't be disappointed.

I moved to AZ to help my father through his cancer treatments, and during that time, my stepmother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. I have been spending long stretches of time in the Mayo Clinic hospital parking lot waiting for one or the other or both to have chemotherapy infusions and radiation treatments. (Visitors have not been allowed inside during much of the COVID-19 crisis, although when my father took a turn for the worse and was recently inpatient for several weeks, I spent every long day at his bedside.) I had intended to make juicing part of my daily routine at home, so I was happy to discover Nekter just up the road from Mayo. It quickly became my happy place! Now I grab a juice, a smoothie, and an immunity bowl en route to the hospital, and the sweet, happy, welcoming crew at Nekter Desert Ridge make every trip pleasant. I LOVE NEKTER! :-)

Staff seemed half dead, and definitely awkward from a communication skills standpoint... but the smoothie was good!

Stopped here for my first visit and got a smoothie they recommended. Have no idea what it was called or what was in it. I do know that it was purple and it was delicious. Will stop by more often to enjoy this cool little place.

Every Nektar chain seems the same. Very healthy place to get breakfast and my favorite smoothie place in Phoenix besides 24 Carrots (but that is not a chain, there is only a single remote place on the Southside). Nektar uses whole fruits and not juices. Whole fruits are much healthier than juicing. They do sell juices as well, but I only buy the fruit bowls and smoothies. Always a pleasure, but always a wait. The other locations are equally as good.

Delicious smoothie. $9 is a little high for a smoothie though.

I ordered a mango bowl. I waited 15 minutes and when I recieved it, it wasn’t even filled to the top of the bowl. Barely any smoothie in there and was mostly granola and coconut flakes. I’m not paying for granola I’m paying for the smoothie mix and I expect a lot of it. In addition, I expect the smoothie and the toppings to be fillled all the way up to the lining of the bowl!! I would like a free bowl or free purchase of any price emailed to me immediately. Henceforth, I will keep complaining unless this location gets their act together and make the bowls right.

Slowest service I have ever received at a juice/smoothie bar. It took 25 minutes to get 2 smoothies made. The cashier at the front was friendly but clearly ill as she kept coughing all over the register and my credit card. She wiped her nose several time while handling my transaction. After the line died down, she put gloves on and went to assist the other employee making drinks. I am hesitant to drink my smoothie since the cleanliness of the place is questionable.

My smoothie was so frozen I had to wait over an hour for it to melt a bit to taste it. There is stuff splattered on ever surface and employees need to be more mindful what they touch with their gloves on. The girl who helped me was friendly and polite but I was left with than non drinkable drink and wondering how sanitary the drink even was.

Typical juice bar/smoothie place. Fun and delicious.
