Açaí bowl reviews · Nekter Juice Bar - Scottsdale

I ordered ahead and still had a to wait a few minutes for my bowl but the staff was courteous and friendly.

I have been to Nekter many times and love it but this time my açaí bowl was only half full. It’s pretty frustrating to pay $9 for a half full açaí bowl. I took a photo before opening it if there is a way to send it.

I am always pleased with the service and delicious bowls/smoothies!

Service was Good, but smoothie itself didn't have any taste even tho i added 2 toppings to my Acai smoothie

Cashier was nice and friendly. Acai bowl was so good, thank you.

I first heard about Nekter a few years ago because the reps for my office would always bring bowls from there in. I didn’t expect much but found they were delicious and refreshing. I hadn’t had one in several years so when I had a random craving I ordered an Açaí bowl. I was happy to see there was a coupon as well since the bowl is a bit expensive (to me). I also appreciated the online order system. The bowl looked as I expected but I felt something was missing / different compared to the ones I had years ago. It seemed a bit less sweet and had less granola than I remembered. Either way it was still good and I’ll likely get another in the future.

The customer service here needs a lot of improvement. I was the first one there and I ordered 3 juices and 2 shots. 5 people came in after me and they all had gotten their orders and had left by the time my order was done. No they were not online orders they order and stood in line. I asked what was going on because I was there for about 15 almost 20 mins. She told me it was almost done the juice takes longer, but they made two huge bowls 3 smoothies and another smoothie for all the other customers. There is a girl there that has tattoos and someone either needs to re train her on her customer service or she needs to be fired she is not nice to the customers at all. She was extremely rude to an elderly lady in there that was trying to pay. Customer service is everything and this location is not it for sure and I will not go back. You guys need to fix your staff PERIOD!

Edit after manager’s response: Carrie, your response proved my point about you as that’s just about the most UNprofessional reply to a negative review I’ve ever read. 2 corrections to your comment. 1. I never called you “confrontational,” I called you defensive. And you are. 2. No one asked for ANYTHING FREE. We asked for what we’d PAID FOR that was left off of the order. If you’re the owner, I’m dying laughing at your terrible business management skills. If you’re hired help, I’d love to know what the owner thinks of you not caring about quality products and great customer service. There are acai bowl places on every corner in Scottsdale. No one needs you. Byyyeeeee!! ————— The manager Carrie is extremely unprofessional. When customers have a complaint, business 101 is simple. You say, “I’m so sorry your order wasn’t to your satisfaction. How can I remedy the problem?” What one doesn’t do is grill the customers like a steak trying to “understand what the problem was” when they’re saying extras that were paid for were left off the order. That’s pretty simple to understand and the solution would’ve been even simpler. As for the review below where the owner says the menu confuses her staff, well... that’s a “you” problem. Hire smarter staff or train them better. I order bowls from this location 2-3x/wk and have never had one turn to soup or be as screwed up as today’s. This location is losing my business, not because the order was messed up, but the horrible management of the complaint.

I really like Nekter so I started going to this location once I moved to Scottsdale a few months ago. However their portion sizes are extremely inconsistent across the morning and afternoon shifts, specifically when it comes to their bowls. The afternoon shift barely gets to 3/4 of the portion from the morning shift. This is not even a tipping issue as I make sure to do so from the app for a fair amount. Tried leaving feedback through the website and It said someone would get back to me but never did.

Hi, I am a huge fan of Nekter and have eaten here for years. I just wanted to let you all know how uncomfortable it is in this current climate to see employees not wearing masks and gloves while preparing and handing over food and drinks. My understanding is that wearing masks is to protect everyone from spreading any germs and it seems that while serving customers, employees should have them. Just for reference I wear one when I go into public as I feel its my responsibility. Anyways I hate to say it but I wont be going back to Nekter as I'm not comfortable with employees not wearing protective measures. I even threw my purchase away when I got outside yesterday after seeing them not wearing masks/gloves. Makes me very sad as I live for the Acai Almond butter bowl. Best, Courtney Russek

Nekter APP online ordering NEEDS an option for Gluten Free in the allergy section, so I can select GF granola in the bowls - and be charged the $1 extra. I ordered online for the first time, but then had to call the store location to ensure GF granola was used. Would make using the customer experience with the Nekter App MUCH better! Thanks!

One of my very favorite places to go because of the delicious shots, and drinks. I personally love their toxin flush with ice . They have delicious bowls and yummy healthy ice cream. A place I go very often and is always clean. The staff is usually very nice too.

Phone was dying but cashier was able to get my app scanned before it did. Order was correct and served quickly. MMM...Acai Superfood bowl.

Great place to go if you're a lean green juice drinking machine. I love coming here because it's always so clean and their juices and smoothies are the bomb dot com. The people that work here are so friendly too and will point you in the right direction if you ask for advice on what to get. The only flaw is how expensive it is to get a drink or smoothie bowl here. They're taking advantage of trends and you can't blame them for that ‍. Check in and get a free ginger shot. The greenie is my favorite juice to grab on the go...not too sweet nor too bitter. Flamingo is the best smoothie to pick if you enjoy coconut water flavors.
