Location: Desert Ridge, male associate. Although my receipt says the cashier is Ciara clearly that was not his name. I have seen the large male associate who I believe has dark hair and of a larger build on a few occasions. The first visit I chalked his poor attitude up to him just having a bad day but since having him help me at least an additional two other times that is clearly not the case. My visit today had me tip the minimum only because the female associate is always a delight and it is not fair she is effected. So a dollar on my smoothie that I am not going to finish because I'm grossed out he may have spit in it that is how poor is attitude is and an additional dollar for the snack bar the female associate suggested. Again only because she shouldn't be penalized but I won't be back to Nektar. This is the closet store to my home in North Phoenix and I refuse to go back to it again, therefore I will no longer be doing business there. Undoubtedly I am not the only one who has experienced this treatment.

Today (November 23rd) I went to Nekter and ordered a juice and an acai banana berry bowl. I am a very regular customer at this location and I was very disappointed with my order. My acai bowl was about 3/4 full and the smoothie portion of it was so liquid-like and had no flavor so I ended up throwing most of it away. It also did not appear to have any agave nectar and I got literally 3 or 4 slivers of strawberries that were just thrown on there. My sister also ordered a juice and asked for ginger to be added and there was no taste of ginger whatsoever. We would have said something in person but we were in a rush heading out the door. I am not one to complain but I feel I did not get what I paid for and being a regular customer I could tell it was not made like usual.

Great atmosphere, decor and environment, however the drinks left something to be desired. I got the Berry Banana smoothie and my wife got the Toxin cleanser. The smoothie consistency was thick and good, but it was tasteless and not sweet, it tasted mostly of ice and the fruit inside couldn't be decerned. It looked amazing, but was tasteless. My wife's drink was very strong, it contained parsley, Apple, spinach and ginger, but the ginger overpowered all other flavors and made it difficult to drink. If their drinks improved, we might go back, but there are much better juice bars around.
