I was in Elk Grove and wanted a small semi healthy breakfast. I think this was my first solo experience at Nekter I think I had been in one of their juice bars before with my daughter but I didn't get anything. On this day I decided to try their Berry Shortcake Waffles 🧇 🫐 🍓 . I took the dish out to my car to sit eat and read but when I opened my conner there was a light blue looking cream all over everything. I immediately thought what is this? It looks nothing like what I ordered or their menu photo. I didn't really feel like going back into the store and questioning them so I just ate what I ordered. Clearly I had the name and the order right it was just the visual surprise. Well, surprisingly the discolored cream tasted great. I am a fan of whip cream although I don't eat much dairy anymore. As I ate the waffles I realized that all though it looked like too much cream it was the perfect amount for every bite. I thought if there was no cream the waffles would be dry and boring or lack flavor. Another good thing is that this nice simple breakfast idea was inexpensive. I was definitely pleased by the price. I am slightly tempted to go back and try their three other waffle options: Go Bannanas 🍌 Slam Jam, and Waffacado waffles. 🥑 🧇 It would be nice if we had nekter juice bar closer too Rancho Cordova area or central Sacramento but, I guess downtown counts for central. I am adding their menu photo of the waffles I ordered so you can see the huge visual difference. Let me know if you would have thought they got you order wrong too at first glance. It's kind of cute and funny because it was yummy. 😋 😄

I love the taste because it’s not overly sweet like Jamba Juice. The close location also helps.

Did there 3 day cleanse, it was amazing. Juices kept me satisfied. After felt great.

Thankful this place opened up in Elk Grove since we don’t have any other known fresh juice places like it in the area. I’ve been here multiple times and received great service each visit. I just did a 3-day detox to start the new year and the juices were tasty (as best as they could be) and really helped me reset my body. If you’re thinking about, just do it - you won’t regret it!

Decent smoothies, but their new hours are outrageous. Every other smoothie/juice place nearby is open until 8 or 9. I used to go every day after working out around 6:30. Then they started closing at 6 in September so I couldn’t go anymore. But now they close at 5:00? Completely ludicrous. But I guess if they don’t want the business of anybody who works during the day, that’s their choice.

As an avid juicer, it was frustrating that I had to leave and order online in order to get a juice that contains beet... why do I have to inconvenience myself to order something that clearly is on one of your menus?

Loved it, The staff here is excellent, they were so eager to help me figure out what I wanted. The tall guy with brown hair was very good at explaining the taste difference between each juices. Very quick and tasty.

I ordered the protein waffles to go, and as estimated it took around 10-15 minutes to make so did not take too long. The to-go box came a bit messy (order the jam slam and I think the strawberry juice got on the to-go box) but the order was done correctly. I asked for a plastic knife to cut the waffles but the store didn’t have any - however the employee was very nice to offer bringing it back to cut it which was very helpful. Waffles were 10/10, great price for the value. I would definitely buy again so I hope the waffles are a permanent item on the menu!

The app does not allow me to take out apples out of the juice option. Just allows customers to sub red apples for green apples

There was very little juice it was mostly foam and for that price you would think it would all be juice

When a friend reached out wanting to chat about starting a strength training (one of my hobbies) routine, I was ecstatic and couldn’t wait to meet. Since we were chatting about something in the health & wellness realm, I figured that it would only be appropriate to meet at an establishment that serves a healthy product (depending on who you ask)…Nekter Juice Bar. This was my first visit to Nekter, so I was looking forward to trying one of their drinks. When we entered the establishment, an employee looked at us halfheartedly signaling that she was ready to take our order…not the best way to acknowledge a customer. My friend and I both ordered the Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein smoothie, which was a perfectly timed post-workout treat for me. Being a fan of pretty much anything containing peanut butter, I found the smoothie to be good, but a little underwhelming. Underwhelming because I felt like the peanut butter drizzle was overpowered by the other ingredients (i.e., cocoa powder, banana, etc.), which was disappointing considering that I thought the peanut butter flavor would be more dominant. Although I wasn’t thrilled by my first experience, I may return to try the Toxin Flush or Green Apple Detox juice(s).

The juices are never consistent in taste. I always ask for extra ginger in my Green apple detox and it never tastes like there’s any ginger in there. I’ve been given a green apple detox that tastes like straight celery, didn’t have any kale, didn’t have any sweetness from the green apples. On top of it all, they always have their window closed where they make bowls, juices and smoothies so if customers walk in there is no way for us to get their attention.

Today I got a pink flamingo smoothie that was delicious and the service was better than I would’ve expected. I thought Nekter would be like Jamba Juice but it was certainly better in every way
