To start: 99% of the time the smoothies are fantastic. They're so good their addicting and I've spent soooo much money here (mostly my partner has at my behest 😉).
I'm disabled, been going through surgeries, and physical distress. I've become very underweight since solid food is tough for me and this place has been a godsend!
Until today.
I've been having pain from my adhesions so I requested a usual smoothie today: chocolate peanut butter with no dates. It arrived and it was surprisingly grainy and bitter, not smooth and sweet as usual. My partner called to tell them and it turns out it was the regional manager who made it and also answered the call.
The manager insisted that they knew they made it correctly rather because they've done it a thousand times. They never gave us a chance. That hurt a lot. We love this place. I don't know how to go back.
