My office just ordered about 30 açaí bowls. It was clear that these were a 1st for many, including myself. They look great and feel heavy. Several people raved about them, and I enjoyed the first couple bites. To me, the amount of sugar, sweet, and fruit are overwhelming and the texture got lost after those first couple bites. I was able to find some peanut butter (which I usually don’t eat) to get the 2nd half down. Still out for debate. Definitely a smoothie deconstructed. I’ll wait to see if there is a sugar crash.

Having been to Nekter locations in California, I knew what I was getting myself into. They have a variety of smoothies, juices, and bowls. Very happy to have this one so close to my new home in Dallas. I still miss getting my favorite acai bowls on the beach, but this place is good enough to help me not feel so bad about that

Smoothies are great! I purchased the 5 day juice cleanse and it was the worse experience ever. The juices had little chunks in them which made unpleasant to drink. I was super bloated while on the juice and cleanse and I gained more body fat doing the cleanse with Nekter's juices. Protein juice are the worse. Waaaaay too much sugar in the juices. My boss has been juicing and she did not like this line of juices either. I will never use this line for a juice cleanse ever again.
