I love Nektar because the food is great and affordable especially compared to other smoothie shops around the area. However I must admit, my last visit here was not super pleasant.
I am not one to complain about interactions with workers, because I understand the restaurant business can be difficult especially as we adjust back to life post-pandemic. But I had a really uncomfortable and off-putting conversation with who I believe is the Snider Plaza location’s General Manager. He was rather short with me to begin with, and when I told him I had a code to redeem a free ginger shot from the birthday deal a few weeks back, he made some sassy comment about how the code didn’t work anymore but he was going to honor it anyway? Even though it clearly stated on my app that it was valid through the end of that day. I even told him that if it mattered that much I didn’t need the shot, but it seemed like he said it almost to guilt me or something, because he still gave it to me? I don’t know. But I just felt really off put by it considering I am the customer and if he really cared that much he could have just said it wasn’t valid.

The staff in Snider Plaza are friendly, attentive and know me, although I only order online. They could not be nicer (they put the toppings on my health shot), and say thank you every time I see them. I wish I could find a way to thank them, I would if there was a way. I walk in and they get my order from the fridge. I LOVE them all. Great service. My highest recommendation.

This smoothie did not taste good. We ended up tossing it out which was pretty disappointing since with delivery fees it cost $20. I think maybe the strawberries weren’t as sweet or the oj was not fresh. We’ve ordered this smoothie many times before and this is the only time we’ve had this problem.
