I almost always enjoy the food and it was good today. The employees were pleasant, as usual.
I will say, the taste is not very consistent from day to day - I visit a lot and it seems that the recipes must have a lot of wiggle room or be not very precise. Sometimes adding ginger to something gives it a very strong ginger taste, sometimes almost none. Sometimes things are blended so smooth that there are no chunks at all, even of things like coconut or cacao nibs, and sometimes there are lots of chunks of everything. I've only had one bad smoothie - they are usually drinkable however they come out - but when I walk in and see a certain employee I do feel happy because his are always good and taste the best, with a good consistency, and I do wish the general experience was a bit more predictable.
Also, service is often slow, especially in the 7-9am time period when most people are rushing to work somewhere. I stopped ordering from Nekter when I knew I had somewhere to be on time, because the times are not accurate. Today my order was estimated at 20 minutes and took over 30. I'll wait, but that's a long time for a smoothie.
