I wish I could've had a better experience, this is my first time here. I came in to order a regular Smoothie with the Free regular Smoothie redemption code from signing up with their app today. This was a timed code that needed to be used within a certain amount of minutes. I placed my order for a regular Smoothie, showed the cashier my redemption code, scanned it and the machine would read "member not found". She told me to make a payment for the drink. I swiped my card and paid. The cashier mentioned that I could add the barcode from my receipt to the app, but that didn't make sense if I wanted to redeem my code for the free regular smoothie. I tried to scan the barcode of my receipt to see if it would redeem my drink for free. Didn't work. After they brought out my drink(20 minutes later), the manager came over after I asked for him and I explained to him the situation. He claimed that the free smoothie redemption code doesn't work until 24-48 hours after signing up and that I ordered a 24oz(i clearly showed the code to the cashier for the free drink which said 16 oz) she put in a 24oz drink. Nowhere on the free redemption terms on that app did it say to wait 24-48hrs to use said code. Now that it was showing already expired after a certain amount of time, I asked him if the barcode is going to work next time if it's showing as expired now. He didn't have an answer. He didn't help resolve this situation and this is my last visit there.

I'm glad to hear that you successfully reached out to our app customer service, and that they were able to better assist you (and ensure) your FREE code did not expire & it is available for use in the future if you'd like to redeem. I adore this place & I’m so glad they brought nektar to the Midwest! Their bowls are super yummy & filling, it’s just unfortunate that it takes like 20 minutes, but it seems like they still have some kinks to straighten out. Will be downloading the app to order ahead so hopefully that helps in the future!

It's ok. Uses too much frozen fruit that I like I my acai bowls and at the price they give them I'd expect alittle more fruit or acai at least

Had a great experience getting my açaí bowl. Staff was friendly and engaging. The açaí bowl is certainly one of the best in the area—or best that I’ve had anywhere for some time. Highly recommend, especially with warmer wealthier approaching. Place deserves more recognition

Over priced, I ordered 2 small smoothies and paid 18$. Waited almost 20 minutes, finally got the smoothies and as soon I got in my car I realized they had the consistency of a milk shake. It's a shame such a new place like this is poorly managed.

Been here a few times while I agree it isnt the cheapest or fastest drink I found it to be worth the price and wait. I have no complaints and will be back again and agian.

We had a great experience getting lunch at Nekter. I say "lunch" because, while perhaps more known for smoothies, the bowls at Nekter are delicious and pretty filling. Mine was a blend of fruit, peanut butter, and other ingredients, topped with granola and fruit.
There are a few places to sit, but you shouldn't rely on this during peak times (after school gets out, or nice weather on weekends). Lots of people order ahead and/or take it to go. It takes probably about 10 minutes for your order if they're busy, so be ready for that. Recommended for a snack or even a light meal.

Extremely long wait times and staff is very disorganized. They just opened so it makes sense but still need to get it together. Waited 30 min for a smoothie and juice. Smoothies and juices are okay

Quality isn't worth the price. Also the prices at this store are insane. Not sure why a bowl from Nekter in Illinois is more expensive than the Santa Monica store on the beach or why it's twice as expensive as a different brand in Austin, TX.

Ive been there twice and both times my bowls have been amazing! I ordered ahead and when I came to pick up my bowl it was ready to go! So much flavor and kept me full all day long. Cant wait to try them again. Great job and we wish you all the best success!
