This place is so refreshing! Nektar provides the freshest ingredients and everything is so yummy. My favorite is the Açaí Banana Berry Bowl. I don’t know how they always have the freshest bananas. Thankfully they offer whey protein to add to the bowls which solidifies it for me! I’ll forever be a Nektar customer. The staff is always nice and welcoming. It’s clear Nektar is intentional on cleanliness and providing the best quality. I only wish they were closer (or IN Crystal Lake 😉).

Everything was fresh and delicious. However, if you have an allergy to nuts, this may not the place for you or proceed with caution. I didn't realize they use cashew milk as a main ingredient for the acai bowl I selected. Partially my fault because it is listed within the menu. I never encountered a place that serves acai bowls with a main ingredient that people can be highly/severely allergic to, so I didn't think to ask when I ordered. Due to the terrible allergic reaction, I will not be going back. However, if it wasn't for the allergies, the stuff is really good.

We encourage our customers to inform us about any allergies so we can guide them accordingly. Our plant based menu may not work for everyone. Yet, substitutes like orange juice, coconut water, or fresh apple juice is always an option too.
I’m disappointed to say my experience at Nekter juice bar was extremely disappointing. I placed an order for 5 drinks, only for it to be served a whole hour later. I asked the staff about the delay, and they implied this was expected for such a "large" order. I found this hard to believe as a handful of people went in and out with their orders while I was left stranded. I understand that the company may take some time to serve a higher quality product, but expecting paying patrons to be ready to wait an entire hour for a few drinks is delusional. High-end restaurants don't take that long, let alone a juice bar.
This goes out to the team that was working on Saturday. You guys rocked the place. The place was busy, but they handled their orders. Thank you so much! Kudos to you guys!!!!

Many freshly made plant based smoothies, juices and fruit bowls with added protein options. Lots of unique options. Modern yet welcoming decor. Friendly staff. Recommend ordering ahead or be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for your order to be filled.

Tried the new sweet and spicy and it was so good and refreshing. If you like a little spice, I recommend trying this! I had the açaí bowls as well and they were amazing. Nothing beats Nékter bowls!

Every time I visit my parents who live in the area I make a point to stop at this Nekter and get a protein bowl or smoothie. First rate customer service AND great tasting healthy snacks will keep me coming back.
I've been visiting the Barrington Nekter for the past 3 years and each time I have a positive experience. Most recently, during the Thanksgiving Holiday week and weekend it was part of my routine to stop by each afternoon for a healthy post-workout snack. I wasn’t an açaí bowl person, but Nekter has changed my mind. It’s something I make a point to order when I’m in town visiting my family. 100% recommend the peanut butter bowl. You will not regret it.
