Smoothie bowl was tasty. I was excited to try this place, so I ordered ahead for my lunch break (at 2pm so not typical rush hours). My ETA was 15 minutes, but it took 35 minutes to get my smoothie bowl from the time I ordered (20 mins past the pick up). There were people who ordered in the restaurant after I walked in that got their orders before me, which was the worst part…
Just what you'd expect from a juice bar, smoothies, fresh juices, acai bowls, etc. Took a long time to get a green juice and a smoothie. I know quality is more costly, but imo, it was very expensive. Aside from that, juice and smoothie were good.
Nekter is a gem to have nearby ! Everything is freshly made and the bowls and smoothies are to die for. I’m obsessed with their cleanses as well. The customer service is top notch and it’s a great place to hang out. Even the kids love it! I especially appreciate that there are no mixes, everything is fresh and delicious every time. I always feel so healthy after Nekter. I’ve had Nekter over a dozen times and am pleased every time. Personally i love that I can order ahead on the app since im always on the go and my freshly made high quality bowl or smoothie is waiting for me. There’s even coloring for my littles and they love the smoothies and bowls. Highly recommend !!
We ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Nekter. Delicious and healthy every time. Protein power is my favorite with Chia Pudding. Toxin flush with extra ginger. Love the new shots and the cleanse is awesome too!!! My daughter and I head there b4 I take her to the HS and she gets the mango bowl. Her favorite.

Nekter is the pioneer of the modern juice bar
experience with a delicious menu of fresh juices, superfood, smoothies, acai bowls, and healthy snacks that can be made vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and low-sugar. I love the vibe and ambience here. Located in downtown Barrington this is my go to spot for fresh juices. They have a nice seating area inside.
So far I have tried the recovery, the buzz , and the green apple detox . Each of the juices were so refreshing and tasted amazing. I can't wait to go back and try their smoothies and açaí bowls.

My husband and I have been here the last two weekends and the bowls and smoothies we’ve had have been delicious!!! Definitely our new go to spot!

Placed an order on the app, got there and was told they were wrapping it up. Came back to the window 10 minutes later and other people were helped but mine was not ready and they asked me what I wanted on top. Long wait. And overall the Acai bowl doesn’t have much flavor, very watered down tasting compared to other places.

Veronika, we're very sorry to read that you're unhappy with your experience. Your feedback is what drives us to improve. Whenever we have orders that have ingredient modifications (no bananas in the base), we like to double check with the customer if that same topping (banana) is ok on top. We apologize this caused a longer than normal wait time for you, as we were only trying to make it right for you! Ingredient modifications, such as yours, do change the overall consistency. Rest assured we never use water though, just our housemade cashew milk and real fruit. Next time, please let us know a thicker base is preferred, and we will do everything to customize, make recommendations to meet your preferences. We want you to LOVE your handcrafted bowl!
Great experience very cool place inside love the wood tic-tac-toe game pieces on the tables among other small wood sculpture’s. Had the Toxin Flush juice very yummy 😋 all their juices so healthy drinks can’t wait to come back and try one of their bowls. Most definitely a place to stop and pick up a healthy drink 👍🥰

Friendly staff and delicious Acai banana bowl. It was my first time at Nekter juice bar, but I will be a returning customer for sure!

I adore this place & I’m so glad they brought nektar to the Midwest! Their bowls are super yummy & filling, it’s just unfortunate that it takes like 20 minutes, but it seems like they still have some kinks to straighten out. Will be downloading the app to order ahead so hopefully that helps in the future!

It's ok. Uses too much frozen fruit that I like I my acai bowls and at the price they give them I'd expect alittle more fruit or acai at least

Had a great experience getting my açaí bowl. Staff was friendly and engaging. The açaí bowl is certainly one of the best in the area—or best that I’ve had anywhere for some time. Highly recommend, especially with warmer wealthier approaching. Place deserves more recognition
