I literally live between the Carefree highway location and the Desert Ridge location, with a Scottsdale location not too far either.... and I choose to drive all the way to this Dove Valley location because they are 100 times BETTER.
We are frequent visit to the Nektar in tempe marketplace so we were excited to see one up here. Our excitement quickly turned to mass disappointment. the parking lot is horrendous with the driver thru Starbucks next to it. The front desk woman was rude and cold on our Sunday 10 am visit 3/28. I understand we were wearing masks, but when a customer asks a question you should respond verbally and not just with slight head nods or shakes and pointing fingers. After that, my husband and I both received our drinks. Mine was the cold brew protein and his the pink flamingo- and BOTH tasted like dried Cheerios. Gritty and gross. Two different drinks with different flavor profiles both resulting in tasting like stale cereal. As we left we noticed two others throw out full drinks into the trash can unpleased. TLDR- the parking lot is trash, the service is trash, the drinks are trash- don't go.
Healthy start to any day filled with many choices or creating your own welcome - staff always friendly and helpful with knowledge of what is being offered - a little pricey
Nektar is great! I always call ahead and it is ready by the time I arrive. Having 2 parking spots for quick drive up is very convenient. All the workers are pleasant and friendly.
