One of our smoothies was the wrong size. We took it back but it seems they just added to it or something because it came back more like a juice than a smoothy. Very watery and not at all what we are used to.

I’ve never been that impressed with Nekter but today I was disappointed. I got the dragon fruit bowl. The actual smoothie part of the bowl was kind of brown, the fruit on top was rotten, and some toppings were left out. Normally it wouldn’t be that big of a deal but if I am paying $10 for a bowl I don’t want rotten fruit. I won’t be returning to Nekter, I’m sure there’s better smoothie places out there.
I have been a long time Nekter lover and visit various locations several days a week. You guys are my go to snack, and sometimes meal or dessert place. But I am very saddened that Nekter is walking away from all of their plant based protein options. Loosing the ability to get a plant based smoothie or bowl is definitely going to impact how often I come in the future. It saddens me that I’m going to have to start looking for a new go-to spot.

Owning a franchise in 2019 must be really difficult. Getting young people to work for you who aren’t clueless AND rude is seemingly impossible. I come here probably twice a week, it’s unpleasant 80% if the time. The bowls are great, the smoothies are ok.
Also- ALWAYS pre-order because said young people will place their primary attention to talking to each other rather than being efficient.
Update: I gave it another try 2 years later and got moldy disgusting strawberries in my bowl...

Nekter Juice Bar
A little on the expensive side, but great customer service. They will make your juice or smoothie however you would like. Excellent fresh fruits and veggies. They also offer their own detox plans. I highly recommend this juice bar. There are multiple locations all over the valley. Enjoy!
Our smoothies were just okay. I was hoping for something with a little more flavor. I was also very surprised to see that the general seating area was dirty, and the bathrooms were borderline gas station. I guess I thought it was going to be higher quality especially because of the location.

The smoothies and Acai bowls are great, but the Acai bowls have gotten VERY skimpy on the amount of fruit, granola and other ingredients they put on it. 1 cut up strawberry, seven Blueberries, half a banana (maybe), small dollop of peanut butter and a thin layer of granola. It wasn't like that when it first opened. Basically $10 for a bowl of Acai ice cream. I hate having to complain about portions, but I might have to next time. Or unfortunately just get smoothies. Please stop skimping and give some value to the prices you charge. The staff is very nice though!
