Acai is not real acai. Is mix of stuff that does not look or taste like acai. I also try ordering a simple pineapple juice and they said they could not make it.

Superb superb smoothies and bowls

First time eating an acai bowl since living in Brazil 12 years ago, and it didn't meet expectations. Good, but nothing special, and at $9 not worth the price. I'm curious how much of the frozen fruit blend is acai relative to the other listed ingredients.

Love this place! My favorite is the açaí banana berry bowl. Every time I go there’s only ever like 2 people in there, not sure what the noise complaints are about and the employees are always super friendly.

Not very impressed with the Açaí Bowl. I’ve had several and this was my least favorite. It was bland. Other places like Jumba Juice give theirs flavor -and add on things for a dollar less. Yes, this place has “larger” sizes... but so not worth it.

First time visit. I like their ambiance. Everything is extremely fresh, made to order. I has Açaí Bowl and it was phenomenal

Excellent vegan selection and a place to get one’s sweet fix without all of that refined sugar! Good people, and service as well. I have never had a bad experience nor have I ever had a wait in excess of 10 min for my order. If I am super hungry they have a great selection of healthy snacks to choose from in addition to their amazing fruit bowls and smoothies.

The bowls and juices are amazing. The three stars are for the service on 3 occasions that I've been in. Each time I'm sitting and waiting for my order to be completed. Each and everytime ill see others after me order but have their item before mine. And today's order unfortunately is no different. Only this time, bowl was complete... sitting there while no one thought to give it to me until 2 orders went out. Frustrating to say the least. Nektar please let me enjoy yall from start to finish!

I was pleasantly surprised by how interactive the staff was. The guy that was at the register was very bubbly and greeted me with genuine kindness. He confirmed that the Acai Peanut Butter bowl is good and I have to agree! It was delicious! If you're looking for a healthier substitute for a meal but not willing to compromise taste; you'll like Nekter...a lot!

I first got introduced to this juice chain in Phoenix and was pleadantly surprised to discover they have some Houston-area locations. I come here mainly for the juices, but they also have smoothies, bowls, and a rotating plant-based ice cream menu.

I really wanted to like Nekter Juice Bar. I saw that they had the a kind of bowls which I had tried at another smoothie restaurant that is not located in our area. I was really excited to try them. My first visit to try them out was okay, however, we had to wait a very long time to get our bowls. We both remarked on how long it was taking. The bowls were fresh and the fruit was good. I decided to go back today for a second visit. To try and avoid the long wait I tried ordering using the app. As I have food allergies it is necessary for me to leave some of the fruits out of the bowl. If using the app you can leave some fruits off but if you would like to add fruits you get charged extra. I was not willing to pay extra for adding fruits because I was leaving fruits off. I went to the store to order my bowl. When I was ordering I asked about the extra charge and was told that yes, if I wanted different fruits on the bowl I would be charged an extra charge. So basically the fruits that are on the bowls I am allergic to and would need to leave off would have me receiving a bowl with no fruit on top. I have no issues paying extra if I am getting extra ingredients. But if they are not using the fruit they usually put in the bowl why is it necessary to charge me for a substitution? After the conversation at the cash stand they did go ahead and let me get blueberries on my bowl so I got blueberries and granola on top. I sat down to wait for my bowl and I waited for 20 minutes. There were other people walking in to get their orders that they had obviously placed through the app. They were waiting an extreme amount of time as well. I finally walked up to the counter to inquire about my order. They asked me which bowl I was waiting on and I told them. The young lady told me she was working on it then. I noticed that she was working on about four bowls at the same time. I'm not quite sure how the ordering process works at the store but I think that if you have 5 employees in a store and one person making bowls for to-go orders as well as in store orders time may be a factor. I think that is what is happening. There were other employees in the store but there appeared to be one person making the bowls. When I received my bowl it was almost melted. Waiting 20 minutes to get a smoothie bowl is outrageous. At some point a person has to get on with their day and a smoothie bowl is just not worth it. I will not be back to this location I will just be waiting until I can make it back to the location where I know they make the bowls properly, promptly, and they don't charge people who have allergies to substitute fruit. **Edit** I just read over the reviews and the replies from the business. Something I usually do before I make a first visit. The main complaint is the wait time. Most people making a negative review state it takes from 20-30 minutes to receive their order. In each reply the business apologizes, states it should not take that long, they will get with the staff about the situation and they will reach out personally to the customer. That's a perfect reply. A more perfect response would be an actual solution to the problem so that a new customer like myself would not have to go through the same aggravating situation that others have complained about and the business has been publicly notified of. Until that time the promises are just a canned customer service response.

Great alternative to junk food! Great Acai bowls.

Order online so you don't have to wait. Great acai bowls, smoothies and juices. Love the vegan ice cream. Consistency of quality and amount with bowls varies and the workers are nice, but a little slow when taking orders- I've had to repeat myself multiple times and visits. The app is great so I prefer to order through there.
