My typical order at Nektar is the PB&J bowl, but I wanted something quick that I could take on the go. I saw the promotion of the waffles and drink so I decided to try that. It was just the right portion and go wrong with a green drink!

The order was timely. The contents of the fruits was generous as well and densely packed with fresh fruit. The only thing I would saw is the lack of cleanliness of the seating/eating area. The walls were dirty and speckled with what might smoothly spills and specs.

I understand the staff was a bit busy, but I didn’t even get greeted when I walked in. The lady at the register didn’t even ask what I wanted, she sort of just stared at me until I spoke. She did ask, “Is there anything else you’d like?”. She just started ringing me up and I wasn’t even done ordering yet. The quality of what I ordered was good, but the staff needs some growth.

Everything was great except until I got home and realized 2 items were missing. I still have yet to pick them up it was 2 shots a liver shot and turmeric one. If not they said they can offer a refund, but until a manager is in on wednesday. Hopefully they do and I don’t have to follow up.

I love this place! Best acai spot around. They work hard. I’ve never been in there where they weren’t making several orders at a time. I don’t like that they seem pretty dependent on tipping as it is constantly pushed. They clearly deserve more than fast food workers and that burden should not be put on the customers. That would reduce how often I would go there no doubt.
