Nekter Juice Bar - San Marcos

All employees were super friendly and were so hard-working!! There were a lot of people and a lot of orders and they handled it so well. They definitely could use another person on busy weekends, but I was so impressed by all of the employees at this location.

Beware of this location!!! The girls here do not care about service or your order. Neither does management. I come on my lunch break from work. I place an online order so I can easily come grab it so I have time to actually sit and eat, but every time, something is wrong and I’m left without what I want. The first time I came, I placed my order 10 minutes before (I know it takes 15 minutes) and they told me they didn’t have avocado for the protein waffle so would only make the smoothie bowl. I asked for a refund and they said oh managers aren’t here for a few days so I can’t do anything until they are here. (I never got the refund). Whatever, I asked her if it would be a couple minutes or if I had time to go grab something and she made a rude snarky remark that it would be a while longer. By the time I came back about 5 minutes later, my order was sitting in condensation pretty much melted. She refused to look at me and was overall so extremely rude. This time that I came today, I asked about my order and they couldn’t find it. I then realized it got sent to the wrong location. That’s totally fine and not their fault at all, so I took the monetary loss and re made my order exactly as it was listed on my receipt. It was frustrating I had to wait since I only had so long, but again not their fault. However, when I finally get my order 15 minutes later, it isn’t the bowl I ordered!!!! When I ask her what it was she went “um you ordered this one” and I went no I read to you what I wanted and then showed her my phone. She didn’t have a response and noticeably did not care. I went alright well just keep this then because I can’t eat it. So then I lose out on 2x the money for one day because they don’t care enough to pay attention. When I turn around, the workers are all huddled around laughing at me. So I don’t get the order I wanted and then I get laughed at?? Also, not to be that person, but their work apparel is extremely inappropriate. Both time some of the girls are just wearing bottoms that genuinely look like swimsuit shorts and that’s pretty ridiculous too. They are rude, don’t care that you are spending money to eat there, and do not care about your time. Judgmental bullies that truly just give off the exact definition of “mean girls”. I love nekter, but will never spend my money here again. Management never followed up when I first reached out about my refund, and I doubt they will know. Disgusting behavior and practices all around.

Half of the week they are not open. Multiple times, I've placed an order online and upon arriving to the store 20 minutes later, they are closed. This location is a complete a total mess. It takes FOREVER to make the food, quality is always inconsistent and unpredictable. I love Nektar but this location is shockingly disappointing.

Overall, I’ve gone to Nekter for over 7 years and they never disappoint! Super friendly and the employees working were able to answer my questions and accommodate. Everybody at the Santa Clarita and San Marcos location are so friendly. Definitely nice to see that the customer service doesn’t change no matter where I order. In terms of orders, I’ve ordered the açaí peanut butter bowl almost every single time and it’s absolutely delicious. Dragon fruit bowl is also amazing. Radiant raspberry is definitely one to try. My boyfriend says the chocolate bowl was great (I’m not a chocolate person myself). And lastly, the mango bowl is delicious. I actually had my order messed up and was given this one by mistake, but it’s okay because I still ate it and it was delicious. I’m not a mango person either, but it was a perfect summer treat! For drinks, there’s nothing wrong with a classic berry banana burst. It’s a perfect work lunch break snack. Atmosphere wise, Both Santa Clarita, CA and San Marcos, CA locations have the most cutest and colorful locations. I love sitting inside! For prices, Yes, it can get pricey especially if you wanted to add something with are typically an extra $1 charge. However, it’s always been worth it to me. The quality of the bowls and presentations are what validate it all. While it’s on the expensive side, the amount you get and how good it tastes doesn’t leave me with any regrets. FAIR WARNING! Some of the photos I attached are custom bowls I did. The peanut butter bowl was the most recent one I bought and I added coconut flakes on top. Definitely worth it! I usually don’t get it, but will definitely do that more now.

The woman at the register was so friendly and helpful. Everything was ready pretty quick and tasted great.
