Our smoothies were made perfectly

I loved Nekter until I got a smoothie with a giant piece of plastic grinded up in it. I'm not sure how much of the plastic I consumed but any plastic consumed is too much. I left a review on Yelp letting the store management know what happened and I had the areas general manager reach out to me today and she told me that this is a "frequent mistake".. she told me it is more common than I would think that a customer receives plastic in their food... I was obviously highly disturbed by this. Ingesting plastic can cause internal damage/ bleeding.. can potentially lead to cancer down the line from the chemicals in it.. Blockages.. etc.. Luckily I have good health care and I am in contact with my doctor and we are monitoring my body for any issues but I'm obviously highly upset and traumatized over this entire ordeal. I was just innocently trying to get a smoothie now I'm having to worry about potential internal damage just waiting to make sure I pass whatever plastic I consumed. The manager seemed to have good intentions but definitely misguided how to handle this kind of situation. Please be careful eating here; I am hoping this at the very least makes them change how they handle the dragon fruit that I was told is packaged in plastic and gets thrown in with smoothies more than I would think.

This was by far the best experience with Nekter to date!!! Thank you for that! I ordered a shot of ginger and it was fresh and fantastic tasting! I also ordered the PB Health nut smoothie and it was exactly as ordered. Will definitely come back!

I ordered my repeat smoothie and this time it tasted really watered down. I did also find chunks of ice in it. A lot different than my usual. However the customer service and speed were great!

The banana berry smoothie has no flavor. I'm sad I spent $9 on it for a cold, flavorless drink

I waited a long time in store, maybe 20 min after ordering online. When I drove about 15 minutes after placing the order. I was on my way to work and needed lunch but couldn’t wait. I asked for a refund. The asst mgr was very nice was going to refund it. She realized my order had been skipped over and was in the back of the line. Many people were served before me that came after me. I believe there were a few new people? She offered me something else that was made already and while I was talking to her she gave me a small strawberry banana smoothie. The other employees made my order while I was talking to her. They did make a great effort to resolve the issue. I had just come from working out for about two hours and I was starving and I was in Costa Mesa and then I had to drive to Long Beach so I ordered my lunch in Huntington right off the freeway. That was the problem, I was going to be late for work.
