2023 update- I appreciate the response from The Establishment and have since been back numerous times and have only had good experiences. I'd like to thank the store for reaching out to me and trying to make things right. Mixed feelings. I've only had good experiences however the most recent experience, I brought my nephew there and he didn't know what to order. This was his first time there and so without explanation the staff asked if he wanted Agave and he said no not knowing that was the flavoring, then was extremely dissatisfied with the smoothie. I asked if they added Agave to my drink and they said no. I asked if they could add it and the girl behind the counter said in a somewhat strenuous tone that she could remake it if I want her to and based on that reaction I said no that's okay. My nephew was so bothered about the drink that I brought the full drink back less than 20 minutes later asking for a solution, compromise, or exchange. The young man, employee behind the counter told me they have a strict policy against any of this stuff, however somewhat flippantly offered to personally take money out of his own wallet to buy me a new drink. Of course I said no. With no solution I threw the drink in a trash in the store. Mixed feelings about coming back after that. I'm kind of frustrated because four or five reviews down the person responding from the store says that if you're not satisfied they'll remake the item given the price. I don't understand why I wasn't offered the same deal when I asked.

It was great! Best smoothies in town! I recommend it to everyone wanting to try something new.

Very positive...first smoothie was excellent. My free one today, marking the number of Nekters now open was rather unimpressive. Maybe it was just the type of smoothie but it seemed kind of watery. I think it was the berry banana.

Had the PB&J smoothie, SOOO good! Super easy to order via the app, and was ready when I got there 👍🏻

I love the variety of selections: fantastic juices, smoothies, bowls and other stuff. Very welcome addition to the healthy options on the west side of Dubuque.

Good! My order was correct and was ready when I arrived. I would love to see some smoothies added that are juice-based instead of plant milk based.

I bought 2 bowls, while on was filled with the smoothie base and barely any fruit. The other was 1/2 full with normal amount of fruit. I think that if they cost this much I should actually receive how much i paid for.

I would suggest letting customers know it takes quite awhile to make your bowls and smoothies and not to expect it to be fast - maybe some signage?

If you’re looking for a refreshing, filling, and DELICIOUS smoothie or açaí bowl, Nekter is the place! I went here for the first time today and LOVED the chocolate Açaí bowl. Very nutritious and delicious. I cannot wait to try something new next time! I feel like this would also be a great environment to study and enjoy something refreshing. Will definitely be doing that soon:)
