Waited 30 min for an acai bowl. They got my order wrong. The whole time the staff was arguing in the back while everyone was waiting for their order. It was not busy..
It wasn’t good, it was expensive and it took a long time. Go somewhere else like Robeks or even Jamba Juice.
Stopped by to grab a smoothie, but when I walked in, an employee told me they were actually closed because the previous person had forgotten to lock the doors after leaving. I appreciated the employee letting me know what happened, but it wasn't a great first impression. I ended up going next door to Winchell's and got a smoothie there instead. Hopefully this was just a one-time mistake, because it's frustrating to make the trip only to find the store wasn't actually open.
I love Nekter, and the employee taking my order was friendly and doing her best, but the store was clearly understaffed this morning.
There was only one person taking orders and preparing the food, which led to a very long wait. During the 30 minutes we were waiting, I saw at least four customers walk in, see the line, and leave without ordering.
Waiting over 30 minutes for a smoothie bowl is simply too long. The smoothie bowl was good and the employee was kind throughout the experience, which is why I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1.
Please staff your store properly! I would not have stayed if I had known the wait would be over 30 minutes.
Pretty stoked to see this new Nekter Juice Bar in South Pasadena! I absolutely love the healthy menu variety they have to offer in terms of juices, Açaí bowls and smoothies. The staff was really friendly and I even had the opportunity to meet the owner, Raymond, and learned more about the opening at this location. The place is perfect to pop-in, easy street access off of Fair Oaks; it is clean, there's cool wooden benches to sit on while waiting for your order. This will definitely be our go-to location when we need a healthy option on the go!
