great experience! was my first time today. had cute samples out while waiting for my order that were delicious. service was friendly, albeit a bit slower than I was expecting, but that is okay. reading other reviews of people lamenting the wait time — this is a small business with high quality products. there will be a wait time. let’s all remember there are people literally being bombed overseas and you’re angrily typing a google review about a business in an affluent area that took too long to make your designer smoothie. tough. I will be back when I’m in this area and I highly recommend it to anyone who can wait maybe 15min for a great smoothie :)

Many freshly made plant based smoothies, juices and fruit bowls with added protein options. Lots of unique options. Modern yet welcoming decor. Friendly staff. Recommend ordering ahead or be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for your order to be filled.

My favorite smoothie/bowl shop! Besides how great the flavors and size are, the staff is welcoming and friendly.

Every time I visit my parents who live in the area I make a point to stop at this Nekter and get a protein bowl or smoothie. First rate customer service AND great tasting healthy snacks will keep me coming back. I've been visiting the Barrington Nekter for the past 3 years and each time I have a positive experience. Most recently, during the Thanksgiving Holiday week and weekend it was part of my routine to stop by each afternoon for a healthy post-workout snack. Lauren (the owner) and her team create a welcoming and warm environment. Keep up the great work everyone--I look forward to seeing you the next time I'm in town.

El producto es bueno, compro regularmente smoothies pero en está ocasión parecían jugos debido a que están muy aguados de textura. Además el tiempo de espera se me hace un poco tardado.

Very good! But be prepared, it's kinda pricy. I meet people out for work a lot so it is nice to have an option in downtown Barrington that isn't always coffee. The smoothie was delicious and it's a cute atmosphere. I would recommend stopping in to check it out.

Took 25 mins past pickup time to get my order, it was overpriced and the smoothie tasted like water with wheat in it

Looking to stay healthy this summer? Make your way to Nekter! All the tasty fruits and veggies! I had a superfood smoothie. It was delicious. Only downside is the price, but normally when food is worthwhile, the price will be higher. That is very much the case here.

I love this place! I’m trying to watch my diet and discovered Nekter. Their ingredients are SO fresh and the combos they use in their smoothies and bowls are so good!! I’ve given up my daily Starbucks run to get Nekter instead! Totally worth it and the employees there seem so kind!

Smoothie bowl was tasty. I was excited to try this place, so I ordered ahead for my lunch break (at 2pm so not typical rush hours). My ETA was 15 minutes, but it took 35 minutes to get my smoothie bowl from the time I ordered (20 mins past the pick up). There were people who ordered in the restaurant after I walked in that got their orders before me, which was the worst part…

Just what you'd expect from a juice bar, smoothies, fresh juices, acai bowls, etc. Took a long time to get a green juice and a smoothie. I know quality is more costly, but imo, it was very expensive. Aside from that, juice and smoothie were good.

Nekter is a gem to have nearby ! Everything is freshly made and the bowls and smoothies are to die for. I’m obsessed with their cleanses as well. The customer service is top notch and it’s a great place to hang out. Even the kids love it! I especially appreciate that there are no mixes, everything is fresh and delicious every time. I always feel so healthy after Nekter. I’ve had Nekter over a dozen times and am pleased every time. Personally i love that I can order ahead on the app since im always on the go and my freshly made high quality bowl or smoothie is waiting for me. There’s even coloring for my littles and they love the smoothies and bowls. Highly recommend !!

Nekter is the pioneer of the modern juice bar experience with a delicious menu of fresh juices, superfood, smoothies, acai bowls, and healthy snacks that can be made vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and low-sugar. I love the vibe and ambience here. Located in downtown Barrington this is my go to spot for fresh juices. They have a nice seating area inside. So far I have tried the recovery, the buzz , and the green apple detox . Each of the juices were so refreshing and tasted amazing. I can't wait to go back and try their smoothies and açaí bowls. They are open 7 days a week! Go check them out

My husband and I have been here the last two weekends and the bowls and smoothies we’ve had have been delicious!!! Definitely our new go to spot!

I wish I could've had a better experience, this is my first time here. I came in to order a regular Smoothie with the Free regular Smoothie redemption code from signing up with their app today. This was a timed code that needed to be used within a certain amount of minutes. I placed my order for a regular Smoothie, showed the cashier my redemption code, scanned it and the machine would read "member not found". She told me to make a payment for the drink. I swiped my card and paid. The cashier mentioned that I could add the barcode from my receipt to the app, but that didn't make sense if I wanted to redeem my code for the free regular smoothie. I tried to scan the barcode of my receipt to see if it would redeem my drink for free. Didn't work. After they brought out my drink(20 minutes later), the manager came over after I asked for him and I explained to him the situation. He claimed that the free smoothie redemption code doesn't work until 24-48 hours after signing up and that I ordered a 24oz(i clearly showed the code to the cashier for the free drink which said 16 oz) she put in a 24oz drink. Nowhere on the free redemption terms on that app did it say to wait 24-48hrs to use said code. Now that it was showing already expired after a certain amount of time, I asked him if the barcode is going to work next time if it's showing as expired now. He didn't have an answer. He didn't help resolve this situation and this is my last visit there.
