Nekter Juice Bar - Cincinnati

This was my first experience with Nekter and overall it was good experience. I loved all the options and that you could build your own anything basically! I also appreciated the option to remove the sweetener and all the other options for modifying items. It was extremely easy to order. The only thing that could have been better was that the strawberry topping on my bowl was not the greatest quality and wasn't cut up very well. It wasn't terrible or anything it just wasn't great and I had to pick some of the pieces out that were still attached to the stem area (I recently had dental surgery and it would not have been good for me to bite into something hard like that had I not noticed prior to eating). I'm happy to give you guys a another try because other than the strawberries it was delicious and as I said I really love all the options for making it your own. Thank you so much.

Some avocados were brown and there was a piece of plastic in the food. Otherwise everything was delicious!

Walked in and both employees sitting on their phone. Had to wait for them to walk over. Employees had no clue about the menu. Gave the girl cash and she was confused then had no change. Soon as she gave me receipt one of the employees went to make the smoothie and the other one sat back down and continued on her phone

Customer service was pleasant in the short interaction I had for this visit. The bowl I ordered was made as I specified but the quality of fruits especially was lacking. Pieces of the pineapple were obviously scrap pieces of mostly the rind that should’ve been thrown out. The strawberries were a bit slimey? I used to really enjoy here because of the freshness of the products overall, but my last few visits I’ve been really disappointed by that specifically. Besides the fruit which is unfortunately a decent portion of the bowl, it tasted fine. I think the lack of quality control and freshness in the fruit made the overall experience pretty dull.

With multiple appointments in Kenwood, I decided to pop into a place I’d never been before, Nékter Juice Bar. Nékter Juice Bar is a California‑based, health‑focused juice and smoothie chain, and we’re lucky to have a location right in Kenwood. I opted for their $20 Immunity Boost, which included: +The Day After – Piña Coco‑ade (coconut water, pineapple, agave nectar, lemon, and spirulina) +The Defense – Turmeric Lemonade (lemon, grapefruit, ginger, turmeric, camu camu, and black pepper) +Power 40 Vitamin D & Zinc (pineapple, ginger, dragon fruit, zinc, vitamin D, and vitamin K2) +Power 40 Immunity (orange, lemon, ginger, turmeric, curcumin, and vitamin E). I took everything to go and did a bit of a mini cleanse throughout the day. I also ordered the Pink Flamingo smoothie, made with dragon fruit, strawberry, pineapple, coconut water, and agave nectar, and paired it with the Waffacado which is two protein waffles topped with avocado and everything bagel seasoning. The staff was lovely, and I really enjoyed both the smoothie and the waffacado. It was especially satisfying since I couldn’t eat earlier in the morning due to medical testing. The juices and immunity shots were also very good and felt refreshing and energizing. While it was a bit pricey for me personally, the experience gave me some great ideas and inspired me to start juicing more at home.
